Rumpelstiltskin Preschool is a family-owned preschool and child care center where children develop a lifelong love of learning. We are committed to maintaining a small student-to-teacher ratio, so that children can receive the one-on-one attention they need to learn from our qualified, nurturing staff. We are located in Avon, CO and enroll students from across Eagle County. Children in our care experience a loving, caring environment where they can gain confidence and feel secure. Helping Children Develop a Foundation for a Lifetime Love of Learning
Our Curriculum
At Rumpelstiltskin Preschool, our curriculum is designed to help children develop not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Our goal is to prepare our students for kindergarten and for a lifelong love of learning. Each lesson is carefully planned in advance. We introduce students to reading and writing skills, as well as math and science concepts. Children are encouraged to express themselves through exercises in music and art. We emphasize creative, hands-on learning, in which children are able to discover and explore the world around them. Enrichment programs, outdoor play and engaging with nature are all important aspects of our curriculum, and we take students on several field trips throughout the year.

Our special activities allow children to explore and develop their interests. Special activities we provide include:

Enrollment Guidelines
Registration for fall enrollment begins in January
Enrollment priority is given to current students, their siblings, and alumni families.
When registration takes place, waitlist applicants are taken on a first come, first served basis.
Class placement is made on the basis of age and development of the child.
Enrollment Fee
A one-time fee of $150.00 per child will be assessed. This deposit is due with the child’s enrollment paperwork and is required to hold the child’s spot at Rumpelstiltskin Preschool. This fee is non-refundable regardless of final enrollment status.
