At Rumpelstiltskin Preschool, we help children become lifelong learners, responsible global citizens, and champions of their own success. Located in Avon, CO, we are a family-owned preschool serving children across Eagle County with a high-quality early childhood education. We provide an all-inclusive, safe and loving environment, where our high expectations lead to high academic achievement.
We carefully plan each and every lesson, using a social-emotional curriculum, enrichment programs and special activities with stimulating environments, including outdoor play. Our goal is to help our children develop an excellent foundation for creative learning. We are licensed by the State of Colorado to admit 42 children, ages two-and-a-half to seven, and we maintain a small teacher-to-child ratio. Our caring, qualified staff believe in the value and uniqueness of each child we serve.

Rumpel Ridge is dedicated to fostering comprehensive growth in children, offering a conducive environment for both physical and cognitive development. We prioritize a balance between planned and spontaneous learning activities to stimulate continuous progress. Encouraging children to make independent decisions and embrace their natural abilities, we aim to nurture their individuality.
Our commitment extends to providing a diverse learning and recreational program, ensuring each child has opportunities for personal growth and exploration. We emphasize both individual development and the acquisition of self-discipline through structured group experiences, preparing children for a well-rounded journey of learning and discovery.
Our Curriculum
Our goal is to prepare our students for kindergarten and for a lifelong love of learning. We emphasize creative, hands-on learning, in which children are able to discover and explore the world around them. Enrichment programs, outdoor play and engaging with nature are all important aspects of our curriculum, and we take students on several field trips throughout the year.
